GOLD HUNTER HAYABUSA is a pulse induction metal detector. The advantages of pulse induction metal detectors over conventional VLF detectors are as follows:
Pulse Induction (PI) metal detectors deliver superior performance in detecting large metal objects buried deep underground, outperforming traditional Very Low Frequency (VLF) systems.
VLF metal detectors use continuous wave magnetic field variations to identify metal targets, offering excellent sensitivity to small, shallow objects. However, their performance is often compromised in mineral-rich soils or salty, wet environments, where ground noise can limit their detection depth.
In contrast, Pulse Induction (PI) technology transmits powerful, short bursts of current and measures the decay of reflected signals. This method is far less affected by ground mineralization or soil conditions, enabling reliable detection of metal objects buried much deeper. Especially effective for large metal targets, PI detectors can clearly capture reflection signals from objects located several meters underground.。

There are two main types of metal detectors: "VLF (Very Low Frequency) type" and "PI (Pulse Induction) type." GOLD HUNTER HAYABUSA has excellent deep detection performance thanks to its built-in Pulse Induction (PI) technology. In actual air tests, it has recorded an incredible detection depth for large metal objects, proving its high sensitivity and stability. By using the standard 1m x 1m cable coil, it is possible to achieve a maximum detection depth of 5m.
Most of the menus and controls of GOLD HUNTER HAYABUSA can be performed using the touch panel.
Mode selection panel: Select the search mode. Choose whether to use it as a traditional metal detector or in a mode with graphical feedback.
Sensor device selection panel: Sensor coils and magnetometer sensors can be replaced.
Option operation panel: Select various options (depending on the model grade) and configure and operate each option.
Once you select a mode, the operation panel displays visually clear controls. Graphical feedback allows you to quickly and intuitively find your target.
Vertical Scan Screen
GOLD HUNTER HAYABUSA can measure the approximate depth to the target. To do so, a known sample of known size must be set as a reference.
Metal detector screen
GOLD HUNTER HAYABUSA visualizes the reaction strength from the target in real time with a bar graph meter. While inheriting the operation feel of a conventional metal detector, it supports more precise visual recognition.
Horizontal scan screen
In horizontal scan mode, the search area is visualized in a grid pattern, and each cell is color-coded according to its signal strength. The strongest reaction is shown in red, so you can immediately identify the target's location.
Ground noise measurement screen
PI (Pulse Induction) type metal detectors are usually designed to be less susceptible to mineralized soil, but in strongly magnetized volcanic strata, false reactions may occur depending on the conditions. For this reason, GOLD HUNTER HAYABUSA is equipped with a ground balance function that allows fine adjustment according to the geological environment.
GOLD HUNTER HAYABUSA offers three grades to choose from depending on your purpose and budget. Each grade has different features, and can meet a wide range of needs, from models equipped with only the necessary functions to high-end models with full specifications.
