LOCALIZER-3000 OPERATING MODES

The Localizer 3000 includes different operating modes. The following section explains some of them.

	Magnetometer In this operating mode you can examine the ground regarding to ferromagnetic metals, like for example iron. With the internal sensor you can measure up to about 3 m* depth, with the differential probes a penetration depth of about 5 m* is possible. The indication takes place through an audible oscilloscope.
	Ground Scan The operating mode "Ground Scan" allows a graphical measurement. The measured underground will be represented directly on the monitor of the device. With the differential probes detection up to 15 m* depth are possible. This measured data can be stored in the memory of the device and transfered later to a computer. With the professional software  Visualizer 3D these measurements can be analysed regarding to the position and depth of objects.
	Side Scan The operating mode "Side Scan" provides a quick discrimination between cavities and metals. A live representation shows you fast and efficient all anomalies in the inspected area.
	Metal Detector The detector is particularly dedicated to locate small objects situated near to the surface (e.g. coins or rings). With the detector you have also the possibility to examine potential findings relating to their material. For example you can recognize, if an object is made of gold, silver or iron.
